Not only a warm welcome, but some of the most demanding roads in France await the motorcyclist. Arriving from the North, the Pyrenees appear out of the warm haze and beckon you. From the sweeping bends of the valley roads to the hairpins and drop-offs of the mountain cols, you can't help but be captivcated.

In the heart of the Pyrenees midway between the Atlatic and Mediterannean coasts, "Plein Air Pyrenees" is the ideal base from which to explore the area. Cols such as the Col D'Aspin, Col du Tourmalet and Col de Peyresourde offer challenging rides with stunning views. Biarritz and the Atlantic coast is less than two hours ride away, with Perpignan and the Med being less than three hours. Visit the pricipality of Andorra, the pilgrimage town of Lourdes, or even the city of Toulouse. Spain is just just 40 minites up the valley. However, one the most spectacular rides is a full day loop into Spain, lunching at one of the many reataurants en route, and returning over the cols to your base at "Plein Air Pyrenees". A hearty meal and a few beers round off the day nicely!
